Christmas

I said in my last post that I would try and make them a little closer.Well you see how that went.Anyway,here we are in the middle of December already with Christmas just around the corner.The last couple of months have been pretty busy to say the least.We did finally get Mom moved over to Sequim in a beautiful new retirement facility.I could live there real easy.It's like a large three story apartment complex.She lives on the second floor with a beautiful view of the Olympic Mountains.Hers is a two bedroom apartment so we have a place to stay when we are over there visiting in the area.They have their own Library,Weight and exercise room,Computer room,Hair Salon,and Media room.If they don't feel like going out,they can even have their groceries delivered.Like I said,I could live there pretty easily.We enjoy going over to visit not only mom but Steve and Lisa and Chris and LeAnn and the grandchildren all live close by.Halloween,Veterans Day,and Thanksgiving have all come and gone and Christmas will soon be here.The last couple of months I have been working in the office at work because of an injury to my right shoulder at work.I am scheduled to have surgery on it the sixth of January and will be off work for at least a month for recovery.I am right handed so it will be interesting to see how well I get along with my left hand.We will be spending Christmas at Chris and LeAnns this year since they have the most room.We are hopeing that the whole family will be able to be there and that Cheri and Seth can make it down from Ferndale also.It would be the first time the whole family has been together at Christmas in a long time.Since I will be off work for awhile after my surgery,I will try and do another post as soon as I am able.Until then,Merry Christmas to One and All..........
