Sequim....

I am kind of behind on this but I will try and get caught up.Last weekend we went over to Sequim to visit with Chris and LeAnn and the kids.It was also the Sequim Irrigation Festival weekend which we hadn't been to in many years. The weather was absolutely beautiful.I have a sunburn on my head to prove it.(my hair isn't quite as thick as it once was) Austin and Rebekah were in the parade riding on one of the P.U.D. trucks.I haven't been to a parade in years and this one was really nice. There wern't to many floats but they had alot of marching bands and old cars . It was great...They also have a logging show that we went to see that afternoon. They had all kinds of displays to look at and lots of competitions between the loggers.Later on they had lawnmower races.I didn't know lawnmowers could go so fast, but they arn't your everyday mowers either.Chris and I had a great time watching the races. All in all,it was a great day.We left there and went to Port Angeles for our annual business meeting at the church. After the meeting we spent the night with Bill and Joyce and went to church with them the next morning. It was another beautiful day. After lunch we headed home. The traffic wasn't to bad so we made pretty good time but by the time we got there we were pretty tired.Nap time.....It was a good weekend. This last week I have been on Emergency Standby status so I have been pretty busy. Not near as busy as some weeks (some weeks as many as 60 hours overtime).I am always glad when it's over. You never know when the phone is going to ring and you have to go out.It finally ends tomorrow morning at 7 am and things will get back to normal. Untill next time.....
