July.....

Where did the month of July go? We have been pretty busy this last month.While Bill was gone to the Palmdale and Ashland camp meetings we went over and filled in for him.It was nice to be able to go over so often.The weather has been very nice this month.We even broke some records that have stood for many years.Seattle reached 103 degrees to break the old record and here at our place it got up to 105 degrees.Thats a little to warm for me but it doesn't last long.Over the 4th of July weekend Chris,LeAnn,Austin,Rebekah,Pam and I took a day trip and went to Snoqualmie Falls for a picnic.What a beautiful day it was.From there we went to the Seattle Center and let the kids go on some of the rides.We all even took a ride on the Monorail.By the time the day was over we were all beat but it was a great day.LeAnn's folks were out from Kansas for a visit and on the last Sunday they were here Pam and I went over to Sequim and we all went to church together and afterwords had a barbeque at Chris'. It was another great day.This last week we have been in Camp Meeting here at the Tacoma Camp Grounds.Brother and Sister Noel Scott are the evangelists and the Fike family are back as the singers.It has been a good camp to say the least.Tonight is the last night so everyone will be leaving tomorrow.It's always good to be able to see everyone each year.Things will get back to normal tomorrow(if there is such a thing).Thursday is Pam and My Anniversary so I am going to take Friday off and we are going to go to Seattle for the day.(38 years,where have they all gone?)I must be getting old............
